Amore Vintage: A paradise for Chanel lovers in Tokyo

Tokyo, the city that perfectly blends ancient tradition with technological advancement, is also an ideal destination for vintage fashion enthusiasts. That's why ever since I started planning my trip to Japan, I knew that Amore Vintage would be on my itinerary.

With three strategically located stores in the heart of the city, Amore Vintage offers an unparalleled shopping experience. One store is dedicated to men's fashion, and the other two, Aoyama and Omotesando, cater to women's fashion. These latter two are just a couple of blocks apart, making it convenient to visit both.

So, what sets them apart? Amore Vintage Aoyama offers a selection that includes pieces from Louis Vuitton, Dior, Fendi, Celine, and an exclusive section of Hermès, while Amore Vintage Omotesando is a miniature paradise for Chanel fans, as it exclusively features vintage and second-hand items from Coco's brand.

Amore Vintage's clientele

Their loyal customers are women of all ages and styles seeking unique and one-of-a-kind pieces to express their individuality. As Amore Vintage has established itself as the premier destination in Tokyo for finding luxury treasures, their clientele includes Dua Lipa, Alexa Chung, Hailey Bieber, Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, and Elsa Hosk.

Amore Vintage, a very special place

The Chanel-dedicated branch, often referred to as 'the world’s best Chanel pre-owned store', is a true museum for fans of the French label. Variety and exclusivity are two of Amore Vintage's cornerstones. In their stores, you can find vintage treasures ranging from classic Chanel handbags to high-fashion garments, as well as jewelry, accessories, and decorative objects. Its founder, Shinako Imaduru, recently mentioned in an interview that they specialize in items dating from the '80s to the early 2000s.

A journey through time

Visiting Amore Vintage is like traveling back in time through the history of fashion. Each garment and accessory has a story to tell, and the store's team is always ready to advise and assist customers in finding the perfect piece. Their locations have English-speaking staff, making the shopping experience much more enjoyable.

A unique place to find unique pieces

If you're a vintage fashion lover and you're looking for special luxury pieces, Amore Vintage is a must-visit on your next trip to Tokyo. A place where you'll find treasures that will accompany you for years and help you create a unique and unrepeatable style.

Loli’s notes: I visited all their stores, but what caught my attention the most was the huge selection of Hermès handbags I found at the Aoyama store; the way they are displayed is truly impressive. Organized by color, in a way that's pleasurable to look at. Different colors, models, designs, sizes ... I spent a good amount of time observing them, and they immediately offered me a pair of gloves. And it's because if you're going to touch any of them, it has to be with a pair of these. Brilliant idea! They looked so beautiful and in such good condition that, even though I had the gloves on, I felt somewhat uncomfortable touching them. After touring this Amore Vintage location (Aoyama), I went to the Omotesando store. A paradise for fashion collectors in Tokyo! Even before entering the store, I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing. I had never seen so many Chanel handbags together in my life. Upon passing through its doors, I confirmed that what I saw from the outside was just the beginning of what I would see inside. I have no doubt why this is a vintage shopping destination for so many people! They have unique pieces, and all of them are in excellent condition.
